Happy Birthday to the British artist Peter Kennard, born on the 17^th of February 1949, living and working in London.

Throughout his career, Kennard has covered many political topics, but war has definitely been one of the leitmotifs in his work. From the Vietnam War, al the way to the Iraqi, Kennard has created a body of works that will make you think (ore rethink!) war and its derivatives …

You can visit his major retrospective “Unofficial War Artist” at the Imperial War Museum until May 2016.
