Founded by gallerists in 1970, Art Basel has been a driving force in supporting the role that galleries play in the nurturing of artists, and the development and promotion of visual arts.
Arguably the most important event in the art world constellation, Art Basel starts today and will entertain for 4 days the 70k+ visitors that with the numerous events staged around the city of Basel. Below, all you need to know in order to enjoy to the fullest.

TICKETS
Tickets to Art Basel can be purchased at the show venue or online. It is strongly recommend buying your tickets early through the convenient online shop. Admission is free for children up to 16, when accompanied by a parent. The ticket is also valid for the Film sector and entitles the holder to a reduced-price admission to Basel art museums during the show.

Day Ticket: CHF 45
Evening Ticket, after 5 pm: CHF 25
Two-Day Ticket: CHF 75
Permanent Ticket: CHF 100
Reduced Day Ticket for Students/Seniors: CHF 35
Combination Ticket for Art Basel and Design Miami/Basel: CHF 60
Groups of 10 people or more: CHF 35 per person
Accompanied school groups: CHF 20 per person
Online Ticket
Online tickets are available up to the last day of the show. Please be advised that only Day, Evening, Two-Day and Permanent tickets are available online.
